This church on the plaza's east side dates from 1540 and is often the scene of rituals that are more distinctly Maya than Catholic. As soon as we walk in you will feel the smell of incense, flowers and the prayers of the people. A great way to presence the unique way of demonstrate faith.

After a great walk around Chichicastenango, we will drive you down to Lake Atitlán (1 hour) You'll arrive at Panajachel Town, this is the main city to go anywhere at the Lake. Visit the church, main avenue and have a great view of one of the most beautiful lakes around the world at its ship dock. Then, we´ll go to a nice restaurant to enjoy a tasteful lunch and get ready to return to the city.

At the end of our wonderful tour, we will take you safely back to your hotel in the city. You can take advantage of this time to relax or take a nap if you wish.
