Day 3: Brace yourself for a thrilling boat ride on the pristine Lake Peten Itza. Our adventure continues with a visit to a wildlife rescue sanctuary, a stop at the Rey Canek viewpoint for stunning vistas, and relaxation at Chechenal Beach. We’ll conclude our journey with a captivating walking tour on the charming Island of Flores, renowned for its vibrant streets and rich culture.

Get ready for a real jungle adventure, we’ll begin with an early transfer to La Aurora’s Airport to catch the 60-minute flight that'll take you to Flores, Petén.
Our staff will wait for you with your name outside the Mundo Maya International Airport.
Our first stop will be at Monkey Island where we will take a peaceful boat ride through the canals and the islands where the monkeys live and if they get close to our boat, we will feed them.
We´ll give you some lunch options on our way to the Yaxha Archeological Site. We will have lunch and get ready for our next stop.
Then we´ll go to the Jungle and discover the beautiful Mayan city of Yaxhá, with imposing pyramids, ball courts, and lagoons. Be amazed by the mesmerizing sunset in the "Red Hands Temple".
After the tour in Yaxhá, we´ll drive back to Flores Island. Have some free time to unwind and enjoy the island.
We will pick you up at your hotel in Flores and start our day by going to the Archeological Site of Tikal. One of the most famous sites in Guatemala and the whole Mesoamerica region. The time to get there is 90 minutes.
Tikal is the crown jewel of ancient Mayan cities. As the sun is over the lush Guatemalan rainforest, we'll step back in time to explore this mesmerizing archaeological wonder.
Our expert guides will unveil the history, culture, and mysteries of Tikal as we wander through its awe-inspiring plazas and sacred precincts.
As we journey through Tikal's labyrinthine pathways, you'll encounter the echoes of a bygone era and immerse yourself in the enigmatic world of the Maya. This is more than a tour; it's a voyage through time and a tribute to the enduring legacy of an ancient civilization.
Then, we will have an included lunch in a restaurant in the middle of the jungle. Bon appetite!

We will return to your hotel in Flores. Get ready for our next day
We will pick you up at your hotel in Flores and start our day by going to the Lake Peten Itza.
We will enjoy a breathtaking boat ride through the lake and then go to the wildlife and rescue center of Arcas. Here you will learn about the project and meet some of their rescued animal friends.
Our next location is the Rey Canek viewpoint which will give us a mesmerizing look of the lake. The perfect spot for photos.
Also, unwind and enjoy the white-sand beach of El Chechenal. You can dedicate your time here to lay in the sand, get in the lake, and have fun.
Our last stop of the day will be a city tour through the Flores Island. An icon in Guatemala. Its beautiful colorful streets will take your heart and will be the perfect closing for this 3-day adventure!
We'll treat you to a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a seamless transfer to the airport, ensuring a smooth journey for your return to Guatemala City.
Once you get to La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City, our driver and bus will be at the exit ready to take you to your hotel.
