The abundance of nature, wildlife, and history make Las Verapaces a not-to-miss destination when you visit Guatemala. When thinking about this exquisite location made up of two departments -Alta Verapaz & Baja Verapaz- it is hard to choose the most beautiful spot. The landscapes of this region are full of green, turquoise, and orange colors that you´ll be able to see when visiting Hun-Nal-Ye and Semuc Champey, two natural wonders with turquoise waters surrounded by green forest, not to mention the jaw-dropping sunsets that can be seen. Guatemala is classified as a megadiverse country; in this small land, we have a wide variety of birds, flowers, trees, and mammals that find a house here. During this 3-day journey in paradise, we’ll also learn about orchids and the great history behind the indigenous people of this area.
This tour has it all, from waterfalls and crystal-clear natural pools to orchids and much more. Don´t miss the chance to see the greatest wonders of Las Verapaces.

The 300-m long stone bridge forms multiple, turquoise-colored natural pools. Drench in the enchanted freshwaters while enjoying the humid subtropical weather. The Mayan people from the Q´eqchi´ ethnicity named the place “Semuc Champey” which means “Where the river hides” since the Chabon River runs below the natural bridge with the pools.
