Guatemala is known for being “The Heart of the Mayan World” and has a great legacy of the indigenous cultures that lived here many centuries ago. On this tour, we´ll appreciate THE LIVING MAYAN CULTURE, learn about their textiles and the meaning behind the colors and the figures we see on their traditional clothing, learn about the chocolate that centuries ago was served to the gods and that in this tour we´ll have the opportunity to taste, as well as the religious syncretism between the Christianity and the Mayan religion. There´s so much more that you will do and enjoy during this tour, including a delicious lunch close to the lake. Believe us, this experience of knowing 3 cultural towns around the lake will be something spectacular. Do not miss it!

We`ll pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Panajachel and will go to the boat dock of the town. A private powerboat will be waiting for us and we`ll navigate in the lake for around 30 minutes until getting to San Juan La Laguna Town, our first stop.
On the San Juan La Laguna Town visit, you'll get to learn the ancestral art of Natural Dye of Fabrics, Medicinal Herbs Garden & Fine Artisanal Chocolate factory. After this visit, we`ll take a boat ride to San Pedro La Laguna Town to know why it is so popular and take some pictures.
We´ll walk around and get to know all the little businesses here and why this place receives the tag of a hippie town. Santiago Atitlan town will be waiting for us across the lake. Get ready to enjoy another 30-minute ride through the lake. Take advantage of the scenery and capture beautiful pictures to take back home!
This is the place where we´ll get to know the religious syncretism, a combination between the Mayan religion and Christianity. We´ll visit the Cristian church and the main Street. Lunch will be taken at a nice restaurant. The boat ride to get back to Panajachel will take around 25 minutes. Enjoy!
